Fight for Your Right to Buy Minimally Processed Pet Food

When I began raw feeding over a decade ago, my animals have been much healthier than kibble fed. Never had any problem with bacteria spreading.

I support raw feeders & raw producers of pet food. The government doesn't need to tell anyone how or what to feed pets. Pets have been eating raw since pets have existed.

I am writing in regards to Texas Tripe, we have been extremely happy with them and our dogs have thrived on their food.

Dogs are carnivores! They naturally eat raw meat, not processed stuff that makes them sick. It’s all a ruse to keep pets sick and fund Big Canine Pharma!!! Stand up for what’s right and DO THE RIGHT THING!!!

I object to the FDA opposing my right to feed my dog a raw diet.

I have been a pet sitter for 15 years. Have many clients that feed raw food and I have fed my Westies raw food for 15 years. I believe raw food is the best. I’ve never known any one human or dog that has gotten sick from handling or eating raw food diets.

I am certified in carnivore nutrition. Carnivores have short digestive tracts and hydrochloric acid in their digestive systems to kill pathogens. They are designed to eat raw, decaying meat and can handle pathogens such as listeria and salmonella. There are no known cases of carnivores becoming ill from raw meats with these pathogens. People are more likely to get sick from improperly handling raw chicken for human consumption than raw dog food. Just wash your hands with Thieves hand soap and clean your prep area with Thieves Household Cleaner folks. Safe for kids, dogs and babies and kills pathogenic bacteria.

I support my right and the rights of others to feed their pets a raw diet! I support Answers right to sell raw products for pets. Thanks for fighting for all pet owners that feed a raw diet!

I attribute part of the reason my little cancer survivor has been in remission for 4 1/2 yrs. to his raw diet. I have the right to feed my dog any way I choose. And a raw diet is HEALTHIER.

Let's give better care to our pets

I feed my dog and cats raw, they are receiving far better nutrition than processed pet foods. My dog's health has dramatically improved. She has several food intolerances to wheat, soy, dairy and fish products that she had been exposed to in commercial products at an earlier time. I will continue to feed raw regardless of any law making by making the food myself. I wish you the very best of luck with your court case. Thank you for preserving our freedom to choose.

The FDA and other government agencies are being paid (bribed!) by the big pet food companies, that's why they are imposing those guidelines as laws!

I hope you can stop the government overreach. They have no business telling me what to feed my pets. My dog acts and looks so healthy on a raw diet and this is not just my opinion, veterinarians go on and on about how healthy he looks.

I have a dog that suffers from IBD and another that had pancreatitis and suffers from thyroid issues due to being over vaccinated, over treated with antibiotics, and feeding them processed foods despite purchasing high quality food. Raw food is the only food I can feed my dogs in order to maintain their health. The government would be better served regulating prescription pet food, regulating pet vaccines, and regulating pet medications all of which is what’s really making our pets sick and killing so many!

I want Raw food for Dog!!!!

We’ve been feeding our dogs raw food for years with great results and no problems. Our dogs have incredible energy and almost never need to go to the vet for anything. It is just weird to demand these stipulations for dogs, in order to protect humans, while humans can buys and handle raw, contaminated meat.

Raw food is healthier for our pets. The store bought puts a limited life on them. My family feeds our dog raw food and trying to switch to raw for our cat. The government loves killing everything/everyone and I'm sick and tired of it. I wish your family good luck!!
