Raw diet and Answers changed my dogs life for the better. She was on multiple meds for arthritis and hip dysplasia. After changing to raw she could run like a puppy.

As a Veterinarian, I have fed my pets raw for the past 10 years and I encourage my clients to do so as well. It's species appropriate, unlike kibble. Sadly the Veterinary profession is does not receive much or any nutrition education while in school and therefore In my opinion mislead the general public about what to feed their pets. There have been more reports of salmonella contamination in kibble.

This is outrageous. We have fed our dogs raw food for 15+ years. This is not about pets nutrition, it's about money. This cannot happen.

I have fed my dogs raw meat, bones and offal count less times over the years without​ any trouble . I hope you win your case .

I want the FDA to do some actual research and understand that raw food is healthful for dogs. Stop harassing the small raw food manufacturers by conducting these ridiculous "tests" and forcing them to issue recalls on foods that perfectly safe for dogs. There is salmonella in raw meat. PERIOD. So when you obtain a sample of a food or product used to make a raw pet food understand that there's a good possibility of salmonella showing up in a test. Again FDA, do some research and understand that there's no more danger in raw pet food than there is in any unwashed fruit, vegetable or meat in the grocery store.

Please let us decide what to feed our pets.

We should be able to feed our pets what we want to feed them.

FDA is corrupt and get lobby money. I am sure the pet food by commercial companies are not happy that they have reduced profit and also that the consumers are no longer ignorant of pet nutrition. FDA pushed out the "Rad Cat" brand due to their bias practices and bullying. FDA tried the same bullying tactics with the supplement industry until the consumers pushed back

Freedom of Choice!! I'll choose what my dog eats.

My animals have been their happiest and healthiest while on a raw diet! I will never ever feed them processed food again, and certainly never anything from the big pet food manufacturers!
