It is my right to feed my dog food that has been scientifically researched and proven to be good food. Just as I feed my family food that has been scientifically researched and proven to be good.

Another example of lobbying by large pet food (kibble) brands I’m sure. The FDA does not have the right to determine what type of food is best for my pet. I know what’s best based on the amazing changes I’ve seen from feeding a raw diet.

This is ridiculous. My dogs have always been on raw diet by omas pride which is regulated. There health is absolutely amazing. Even helped my 15 year old husky when I switched her years ago. Her liver numbers dropped when they were too high. And she started having more energy. Best food around. I will only feed my dogs the best.

What is really motivating the FDA? Someone is making money at the expense of our pets. Produce good science FDA and we won’t think the big pet food companies are sending your kids to Ivy League university and buying your next beach house.

Minimally processed food kept my dog with multiple allergies from getting hot spots and requiring antibiotics daily for years. Frankly, I am far more concerned with the presence of antibiotic resistant bacteria in my home than I am of salmonella or any other contaminant in the food I feed my dog.

Who do they think they are? Best they look at the crap that goes into kibble before messing with a species appropriate diet.

What happened to freedom of choice? Are the dog food companies getting worried about loss of profit?

Absurd. Raw foods have proven time and time again to be completely beneficial in comparison to the processed junk foods such as IAMs, Purina, and all brands of the sort.
Whatever the outcome, you can’t stop me from butchering, cleaning and making my own raw food. My dogs love it, are thriving, and long-lived on raw.
