Fight for Your Right to Buy Minimally Processed Pet Food

Both of my pups do better on a blend of cooked and raw. The most important part, you can't decide what I feed my dogs. I bet you would prefer if they ate can food.. not happening.

Too many recalls on kibble and too many deaths of our beloved companions to make us feel safe about feeding dry dog food.

do they realize all we will do is go back to DIY feeding?? RAW meat "suppliers" for our pets are awesome, and just make things easier and more convenient...(percentages are usually already figured out, the messy cutting is already done...some items like green tripe is more "attainable"...but, do NOT think for one freakn minute I will STOP feeding my dogs a raw meat diet just bcuz my supplier is not "available"!! I was doing DIY when I first started, bcuz I didn't know about them!! I would be terribly sad/mad to see them go, and I will fight to the end, to make sure they don't! but, I will NEVER stop raw feeding my dogs!! kibble is what kills dogs!! kibble (imo) is made so that dogs DO get sick, and HAVE to be seen by a vet and have to have expensive treatments!! (backed by BIG PHARMA!!) why not have THAT looked in to??!!! and the vets that push that crappy kibble??!! hhhmmm???

kibble has made my pup utterly sick, every brand of it. from skin infections to ear infections to rashes and constant itching. since switching to raw he’s been healthier than ever and my vet agrees 100% with the switch. she’s even said herself that she’s never seen a dog so healthy. keep fighting guys, they can’t take away our right to feed our fur babies what’s biologically appropriate for them and what they’re designed to eat! to hell with kibble and it’s cancer ridden garbage ingredients. we feed raw! it will never change, the government will have to kill me before i sacrifice my pups health.

What the FDA proposes is unscientific and unlawful.

Leave us alone. My dogs have all lived VERY long lives because I feed raw. The last one lived until just before his 20th birthday!

I do not want to be forced to feed less nutritional food to my dogs. I have been feeding raw for over 12 yrs with great success , please do not take that away.

This is the same FDA that allows drug companies to make drugs that have a long list of side effects and some that have killed or crippled thousands of people every year. How hypocritical of them!

kibble was killing my dog, raw saved my 11yr old. she was on kibble and was given 4 dos to live. she switched herself to raw...lived to 19 1/2 on raw!

Been feeding raw 20 years and have very healthy dogs, raised a baby around it with zero problems.

We as Americans have the right to chose what we feed our pets. Raw food diets have been proven to have health benefits that outweigh the risks of salmonella. We are capable of taking care to minimize the risks.

I have the right to feed my pets what I feel is safe and best for their health. The dry dog food manufacturers have been caught time and time again harming our pets with their low quality food.

I had to take my dog off of kibble and processed food because I could not find a brand that my dog could tolerate. I've been feeding him raw for 5 years now without any issues and he is living a better life for it.

I am shocked to hear this. I lost faith in our government!

I have been feeding my dogs a raw food diet since 2002. I believe it has contributed greatly to their health & wellbeing, and I have never had an issue with salmonella or any other contaminant.

My dogs are healthiest on a minimally processed diet. Raw diets are a natural food for cats and dogs. FDA refuses to follow laws concerning processed foods and we need raw options from ethical companies.
