I want to make the informed decision on what to feed my pets. The FDA can't even prevent the many pet food recalls (dry and canned processed food), so why would they ban raw diets? Owners should be able to research food companies and their offerings and make the decision themselves.

I believe dog owners have the right to feed their what they seen to be health and fit. Without government control.

We have been feeding a raw food diet to our german shepherd for 8 years and he is consistently healthy. His weight is optimal, he has great teeth, no health issues of any kind and has never been sick as a result of the food we feed him. We urge the members of the FDA and other regulatory bodies to review real facts surrounding raw and minimally processed pet foods and allow pet owners the choice to feed our animals this safe and effective diet.

I have my dog raw food for the past 12 years- 12! And she is like a puppy. Her teeth aren’t brushed and yet they’re tartar free basically. You want to control what we feed our pets by listening to financially invested companies who pay the schooling of veterinarians?!? One day this new and current generation will see through the propaganda and STOP taking their pets to the vet because of such things. Dogs catch and eat raw food themselves if left to do so in the wild and if you continue to infringe upon their rights to eat a raw diet I see that as a form of unhealthy species control that is inherent to their wellbeing.

My dog was dying on store bought dog foods, dry and wet. Then I found Answers. They saved Caleb's life with their raw foods.

Vets approve of the diet and it saved my cats life. Theres no valid reason for it to be banned from the pet food industry

My GSD is 11 years old. She's been on raw since she was 11 weeks old. Teeth are still good, beautiful coat and she moves quite well, especially for a dog that was diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia when she was 3. Leave our raw food alone!

While I do not exclusively feed raw, I do supplement my dogs' diets with raw on a regular basis. Pet owners should have the right and responsibility to research and choose what to feed their animals.

As a raw fed Great Dane pet parent with food allergies, I surely reject any governing body suggesting what is in my dog's best interest. These entities neither pay my veterinary bills nor provide her (or me) with comfort when she is ill from being fed food that is unsafe for particular situation.

Protect consumer rights to buy and feed raw or minimally processed pet food, and to prohibit government agencies from arbitrarily creating, without science, and enforcing Zero Tolerance Policies and Rules.

Raw feeding has helped all my animals where processed food caused problems. It is well known that processed foods are the leading cause of pet illnesses. As owners we have the right to offer our animals species-appropriate nutrition so they thrive and live long, happy lives.

Please allow consumers the right to chose how they see fit to feed their pets. We deserve to be able to feed all our pets a safe, balanced, raw diet. Thank you.

It is MY right, MY business to feed my pet what I deem is appropriate, and that includes feeding a RAW diet as MY choice. Not the FDA telling me what I HAVE to feed them. The FDA should be paying mote attention to the carcinogens and garbage that is being added to retail & commercial kibble brands - those foods have actually killed pets.

We should have the right to feed our pets in the best way possible. Raw food properly prepared has all the proper nutrients and vitamins our beloved pets need to have a long. Healthy life.
