More dogs have died from eating contaminated dry food. This obviously is big pet food feeling threatened.

They only doing this because they losing money some where in the pet food. More and more people are becoming educated about what's healthy for their pet's.

I feed a raw food diet. I want the option to always feed my dogs fresh, species appropriate food!

I want to keep my rights to feed my pets a nutrient rich species appropriate diet. I support pet food companies like Answers and hope they can continue to provide pet parents a balanced raw diet.

I have fed my pets raw for 13 years now and would never go back to processed food. It is our right to choose what we feed our pets as long as it's good for them and nobody can argue against the benefits of raw.

my dogs have long been healthier on raw diet than when I fed kibbled & canned food that caused cancers, thyroid and joint issues.

I fed 4 pets raw until recently losing our old girl, who 2.5 yrs ago, was full of cysts and inactive. She was crippled at the time, but her last 2 yrs in life were the healthiest of her life. Every pet in the past died from radiated kibble illness. I'll not feed it again to my pets. Salmonella is liklier to be found in kibble anyway.

I do not believe the FDA should have a zero tolerance on raw diet !

In what world are we to believe it’s better for the animal to eat a heavily processed food rather than a fresh food based diet. I have the right to decide what i want to feed my pets and don’t want to be forced to be a slave of this industry, which is becoming very ugly. Sad and worrying.

I had dogs who could not eat kibble without having runny stools (one of them terribly runny) and finally had to start feeding them raw meals. They thrived on that. When I couldn't afford that any longer they had problems again until they ate grain free. They lived longer than any of my dogs other than my dachshund. One of them did get an autoimmune disease and could no longer eat the kibble, so I got a frozen raw diet for him and he lived about 3 years longer with a disease that usually will kill a dog in a couple of months. My vet was very happy that I was giving him that kind of diet. His brother got cancer while on the kibble so was returned to raw for the last few months before the cancer took him at 16 and he ate it happily without ever getting sick from anything else. Please don't take away the choice we have to keep our pets healthy.

No should prevent an animal to eat raw food. And that include Human which some conveniently forget are animals. What next, will the FDA force us to eat only processed food? Stop being ridiculous.

I have only been feeding commercially prepared raw for about 3 years but I have seen it do wonders for my small senior dogs. Some of whom have health issues they would have surely already died from if they stayed on kibble. Anyone who meets them thinks they are far younger than they are and they love to eat now! I will NEVER stop feeding raw, healthy, species appropriate food to my dogs!

My cats are the healthiest when they eat a raw meat diet.

A raw diet is biologically appropriate. If the FDA wants to take away my ability to feed my dog a biologically appropriate diet then the FDA is effectively killing my dog.

Raw food is the best food to feed any pet and it should be my choice to do so..!!!

One of my dogs can't tolerate any kibble. I've tried everything over the years but the same dog thrives on a raw diet!
