Fozzie struggled with all sorts of GI issues until going raw!

I have been feeding raw since the first recall with melamine in the kibble killed 3 of my mastiffs. Never will I go back to processed foods

My dog is now healthy after being on a commercially prepared raw diet. Processed kibble made her sick for 7 years. Since switching foods my now 11 year old dog hasn't had one vet visit due to illness.

FDA is really OVER STEPPING!! As my YOUNGEST girl (dog) at only 5yrs old has been diagnosed EARLY DCM from her dog kibble BUT because I took her to the vet with the FIRST SIGN of her not acting her normal self her chances are excellent for her body to heal its self BUY STOPPING Taste of the wild dog kibble.. which I did threw a brand new bag (30lbs) right in the garbage, and have cooked both my girls fresh meat and fish and vegetables.. as trying to research a EXCELLENT DOG KIBBLE has shown there is VERY FEW so FDA needs to concentrate on processed commercially made dog/cat kibble as they are ONLY ABOUT THE ALL MIGHTY DOLLAR while RAW FOOD (dog/cat) clearly care more as they spend there funds on testing and there main concern is the pets being fed.. no one will ever tell me what I can and can not feed my girls.. as my only concern is there health and happiness and a healthy dog is a happy dog!!

Leave the raw food alone!

The freedom of Americans to choose feed for their pets should not be taken away!

I have been feeding raw commercially prepared meat to my dogs for several decades. My dogs are always super healthy and vital and their vets agree. I do not want any U. S entity such as the FDA to get in the way of my rights to feed my dogs what I know is the best diet and nutrition for them.

No one has the right to take away raw foods for our furbabies that we know exactly what we are feeding that's helping our 4 legged family

I have dogs with serous health issues that have been on a raw diet for 7 years. My dogs' lives depend on raw feeding.

We need to be able to feed our pets biologically appropriate foods in there raw natural state. Stop assuming people aren’t smart enough to wash their hands after handling meat and stop regulating an industry that is safer than kibble.

pets have been surving on raw meat for centuries as a Siberian husky owner it dates back to when Alaska was still mostly inhabited by Inuits.

Let me choose

Can’t believe any government would remove a choice like this yes bring in tighter rules for production but you can’t remove a choice ! Dried food is utter crap would you like to eat dried food for your life NO!!!!! So why make a dog that naturally eats meat. How cruel!!!!

Ridiculous removal of freedom of choice ! How disgusting when so many manufacturers out their are running tight ships in the process and dogs are so much healthier!!!

It’s natural no preservatives and no risk this is a freedom of choice people will only go to the human shop buy raw meat their and feed their dog! You can’t stop people feeding their dogs what they want. What you are doing is stopping the meat abattoirs using meat that otherwise would be destroyed which is safe for dogs to eat.

The FDA is awful! I will feed raw because it's better for my pups!

Maybe the FDA should pay more attention to what humans in this country are eating - and leave the dog diets to their owners.

Raw food miraculously cured my dogs urinary problems when traditional medicine completely failed. Her health will decline quickly if I have to take her off it.
