Fight for Your Right to Buy Minimally Processed Pet Food

There is proven benefit to use of Raw food for dogs. This does not need to be regulated and we don't need to have government force us to buy from big business interests.

It is our right to feed our dogs and cats the species appropriate diet they were born and designed to eat. Processed food is no good for man nor beast.

Better food standards for domestic pets needs to be established. NO 3 D meats. We have the right to feed food we determine to be healthy for our pets.

Get out of the pocket of big food manufacturers and let people feed their dogs as they see fit

My dog's cardiac condition is under control since switching to raw early this year. Prior to that it was steadily progressing. Our pets, our hearts, our choice!

I’ve fed raw for 13 years and the dogs I’ve fed have had complete health turn arounds after switching from kibble to raw. Problems and ailments disappeared on raw that we had struggled with before. In that span of time I’ve also given birth to two healthy children and all four of us are hardly ever sick.

I have fed 3 Berners raw for approximately 90% of their meals for the dog’s life. They have lived to 12.4, 9.5, 10.8 years respectively with minimal health issues over their life span. While this is anecdotal information to have three Bernese make it to what is considered a very senior age speaks volumes. I have never had signs of health issues that could be related to eating raw.

Interference in individual choice has become the norm. Have you studied our constitution which you swore to uphold?

Totally unacceptable to stop pet owners feeding raw food . The same huh standards are not allied to kibble with disgusting rubbish in the processed dry food !

If someone wants to feed their kids a raw diet, no one complains. What should be the difference for pets?

This is highly concerning that he FDA is doing something so awful. Doggies have the right to eat row food and owners have the right to get it in a way it’s easy to provide.

I have fed my dogs are raw diet for almost 10 years now. they're the healthiest they have ever been. There's my right to feed my dogs what I want not the government's. I have to know what's best for them.

My dog is going to be 6 in November. He has been fed raw since 3 months of age when we first got him. His health was compromised for the first month he was with us because of the many illnesses he had. Raw food made him healthier. Now, he never gets sick. I have never seen a healthier dog!

Taking away our rights to eat what we want, feed our dogs what they want and need, our rights to choose what medical care we want....If we allow this we are no better than robots - isn't it Hitler who said "take away a few of their rights a little at a time and they WONT NOTICE their lost FREEDOM" ( caps mine .....THINK about this !!!

It is another cog in the government wheel to align with entities that are designed to keep Americans, and now our pets, sick and medicated. Which puts more money in big pHARMa’s pocket. These government agencies are not I interested in health and well being. Follow the money trail, it NEVER LIES!
