I should have the right to feed my dogs a healthier diet besides kibble. There is NOTHING worse than feeding dogs kibble. If processed food is not good for humans, why would it be good for our pets? Do NOT take this right away from me. https://youtu.be/wOTcT5qCPr4

Just wrong! There is salmonella in raw chicken intended for humans. Are you going to ban that too?

I have fed raw for over 30 years. DO NOT plan on changing.

Since animals are still deemed property - owned or defined explicitly as "sentient", seemingly un-able to make choices for themselves, It must our right to feed the type of food each of us choose for them. Not what any government or cooperation decides is proper or not, for a being of property anyone else can claim to "own" It would be like forcing parents to only feed Lima beans & un cooked liver to their children knowing they hate it, but will make them sick & never enjoy eating again. This a definition of cruelty to me & many others will surely agree! So much misery is forced on animals by mankind. If by chance they are part of a loving family any outside party is not responsible for the health and welfare according to the food when there is no significant research that any raw diet poses a threat more or equal to a diet of over processed plant based & biologically species incorrect food.

My dog has so many allergies, raw food mixed in with other food is the only way she doesn't get sick

I will feed my dogs whatever I wish. Food cannot be regulated as this.

My dog is severely allergic to many ingredients that are mindlessly shoved into kibble- his raw diet keeps him healthy and full of energy: no matter what I will continue to feed my dog what I KNOW is best for him.

My cat has so many food allergy's she can only eat raw. Without it I'm afraid I would have to put her to sleep or she would live a life of constant pain.

Raw means raw - not processed in any way. Animals don't process their food in the wild and we don't want processed food for our pets. Leave us alone!

Consumers should have the right to have access to healthy food products for their pets, including raw diets.

Definitely need to regulate and be major watchdogs over this type of food!

The government should not be trying to make end runs around it's own regulations. Pet owners should continue to be able to make the decision to purchase raw pet food. So far kibble has been responsible for salmonella outbreaks.

We all need to be getting along more, and acting on this would be creating enemies. We are well informed, and perfectly capable pet parents that do not appreciate assaults on what we rely on to make our lives less complicated, and our pets healthier. We know what we want, the companies who provide that do so with our pets as top priority. Making things difficult, or worse, impossible for us will not create any added customers for the processed food industry. These overreaching policies and rules, are in no way coming across as altruistic. Thank you for your consideration.
