Fight for Your Right to Buy Minimally Processed Pet Food

I choose to feed biologically appropriate food to my animals... I CHOOSE. I stand with Answers and the right to choose.

Been feeding our dogs raw for years....have never dealt with cancers or any of the other issues we see so many kibble fed dogs suffer. Happy with our raw meat for our dogs and think the FDA should focus on other issues such as the safety of our drug supply (which is manufactured mostly in India and China who have shown a poor track record in GMP) and unregulated supplements flooding our markets that successfully avoided FDA oversight since the mid 90's.

I feed my dogs a balanced, healthy diet that includes raw and minimally processed foods. I don't have the time to make all this food myself and depend on having it available from the companies who provide it. I do not want regulations to prevent me from purchasing these foods from the small independent companies who provide them! Please protect my consumer rights to buy and feed raw or minimally processed pet food, and please prohibit government agencies from arbitrarily creating, without science, and enforcing Zero Tolerance Policies and Rules. Thank you!

Pets are family members and should be fed and treated as such. Their food and diet is just as important as other family members! Thank you for your time in this important issue.

Commercial food has kept my dog sick. Only until raw diet did he get healthier. Vet disagreed with the change but WE can tell a difference in his health and they are starting to see it too.

As a pet owner it’s important to have a choice of what i choose to feed them.

What a silly idea! Animals have been eating raw food since the dawn of time. Find something else to regulate!

FDA is now saying that Grain Free Food is causing CDM in dogs without any scientific back up? Blown up headlines to scare people in believing that minimally processed foods (free of grain and corn) and raw food is killing us and our animals? We need a voice, our animals need a voice - and i want to be part of this!

My pet, my choice

It should be illegal to sell most big brands pet foods because of the toxic ingredients. Those same companies are trying to make it illegal to buy healthy foods so they don't have to compete with them instead of making their own foods better.

Raw food is what our animals should be eating. I want to know whats in my food and have the choice to give my animal what I feel is the best choice.

My pup was very sick when I adopted him and he was under weight and gaining nothing. What he ate, he threw up, if he didn’t eat (and he would often skip meals) he would loose more weight. After I switched him to a raw diet, he is now a very healthy dog and he is absolute optimal weight. He eats every lick of his food and never throws it up.

Both my dog and I absolutely LOVE Answers Pet Food! I was fortunate that I was able to speak with Billy at Answers after my dog was diagnosed with an Endocrine disease. Many other raw foods that I had fed in past are now HPP or have phages as kill steps and I will not use those brands any longer. Fermentation is definitely the way to go and I would be devastated without Answers Pet Food! Although my dog will never be cured she is not symptomatic at all like she was and our holistic vet is amazed! I attribute it to Answers.
