Please don't take away our options for healthy foods for our beloved pets. My dog has done wonderfully on raw food and fermented goats milk. It's far superior to the over processed kibble!!!!!

I have been feeding my dog organic raw food for 2 years. I will never go back to processed kibble!

I am a registered nurse and former certified veterinary technician. While in nursing school I was employed at a pet wellness store that sold qaulity raw diets. While I had initial skepticism regarding the safety of raw diet, I quickly became convinced of the safety and benefit of raw diet in pets through consistent empiric evidence. My beloved german shepherd was diagnosed with a fatal autoimmune disease, which became asymptomatic after one month of 100% raw feeding. I have since rescued another shepherd who had severe systemic infection that had not resolved after multiple courses of antiobiotic therapy over 5 months, and she too regained full health after only a couple months of raw diet. Our 12 year old cat was unable to jump up due to arthritis, was irritable and unsocial, had horrible breath, clumpy fur, and frequent vomitting. She is now 17 years old and highly active, affectionate, and resembles a cat in her single-digit years. I will never feed my pets processed diet again, despite regulations and laws based on politics and profit. I am discusted by the overreach of the FDA and will strongly advocate for my freedom to choose what I know to be the healthiest diet for my pets. This bacterial witch hunt is an absurd waste of tax dollars and will not be tolerated by the masses of raw feeders who have witnessed firsthand the amazing health benefits of raw nutrition!

I’m in support of the fight of freedom to feed my pets a high quality raw food diet such as food produced by Answers Pet Food. Their Kidney Diet has prolonged my dogs life like no other commercial processed dog food.

Tell me FDA, is anyone on your board affiliated with Mars Corp/Cargill/Monsanto? We consumers should have freedom to choose SAFE and HEALTHY food for our pets. Not only be limited to the products that are a detriment to our pets wellbeing.

I feed my 18 year old cat raw. It saved her life when she had untreated hyperthyroidism. We handle her food in a safer, cleaner manner than our own meat is handled.
