Answers pet food is fantastic. Why is FDA getting involved with a quality company like this? Are large brand pet food special interest dollars influencing their interest? Biologically Appropriate Raw Food is feeding as Mother Nature intended. Pet owners should continue to have the right to buy and feed raw or minimally processed pet food, and government agencies should NOT arbitrarily create any rules not substantiated by FACTS and SCIENCE. Regulate something that is of "people's" concern--NOT SPECIAL INTERESTS! Stop this madness!

Yes I want my dog and other animals to be able to eat a raw food diet. My Service Dog was just diagnosed with diabetes cause we fed her bagged food. We switched her to a raw food diet cause she is overweight and still can’t get her sugar regulated! Now she is doing a lot better! I wish I would have fed her raw food more throughout her entire life cause she probably wouldn’t have diabetes and be much happier and more energetic. She still does her jobs but I feel extremely bad knowing I fed her supposedly good dry dog food and it actually hurt her in the end. They need raw food! If she couldn’t get raw food, I would have to put my Service Dog down which is so wrong!!! Thank you for listening!

My dog had developed terrible skin and food allergies as well as digestion issues including nasty bouts of bloody diarrhea and vomiting. Her paws developed multiple oozing boils and I had to soak them several times a day and put boots on her to prevent terrible pain and bleeding. She was on what I believed to be the best dog food available - grain free kibble manufactured by a high end dog food company, but this is what it was doing to her. Since changing to a raw diet prepared and sold by family owned operations, her health soon did a complete turnaround and she has no more of these symptoms and is gorgeous and thriving. Please do not deprive our pets of optimal health by condemning the only diet that is completely natural for dog and cat species. Respectfully Laurie Couture

This is completely outrageous! My dog and cat have benefitted greatly from eating raw food and especially Answers Pet Food products.

I really hope the government doesn’t shut raw food down. My kitten is so healthy from raw food.

I have fed raw to my dogs for 25+ years. They have lived long, healthy lives with very few health issues.

Don't take away my right to feed my dog what is the most beneficial diet for him. The only reason for this attach on small raw diet companies is money for the big processed food companies. They have deep pockets and are pushing the FDA. It's not right!! Freedom and small businesses are what built this country.

Stop the bureacracy, the AAFCO is run by the pet food companies who tell the government how to govern the pet food industry. RAW IS BEST!

This is America. Purchasing minimally processed pet food is exercising our freedom rights to choose.

I owned a pet supply store in Denver, CO and repeatedly dealt with inspectors from the Colorado Dept of Agriculture and the FDA. The constant drum beating against the raw food category (despite the fact that the evidence points elsewhere) was financially harmful to our business. We are elated that Lystn has the wherewithal to stand up against them!

No one better DARE take my option for raw foods away!!

We should have a choice!

I have fed my dogs raw for years and their health has significantly improved compared to the low quality kibble I was told to first feed them.

We must have the option to feed our pets the best of raw foods manufactured safely by independent companies doing the right things for pet nutrition. We need to stand up to the big pet food industry, that continues to create foods NOT for optimum health and wellness of our dogs. Let's use real science, real ingredients, sourced responsibly instead. We must have this choice! This ridiculous FDA position is simply WRONG. You can not and should not allow the FDA to continue this outdated regulation.

It's a fact, dogs thrive on REAL FOOD.
