Fight for Your Right to Buy Minimally Processed Pet Food

PLEASE support our right to feed our pets minimally processed food. No matter how this issue is framed, it is our right to make feeding decisions for our pets. No doctor or medical association tells us what is or isn't legal to feed our children, why is this tolerated for our pets? We have known for many years that eating minimally processed food is best for our health. Of course this is true for our pets, too.

Do not infringe upon our right to choose to feed minimally processed food that brings great health benefits to my grand-furbabies.

The demand is growing and the science from DMV's support raw foods for animals!! Decades of science has proven numerous animal health benefits from raw minimally processed foods. Read the science and allow the healthy raw minimal processed pet food options that are in the market place now to continue!!

Stop killing our pets

35 years of raw feeding over 30 dogs, never a single case of anything to me or my family or anyone I know who feeds raw. But ten of us at one dinner party got salmonella traced back supermarket eggs. Stop pretending this is about anything but corporate greed.

I have been feeding raw food to my dogs for almost 20 years and neither they nor I have ever gotten sick from the food. I should have the freedom to choose how and what I feed my pets. This is my right and my dogs have been extremely healthy. Please do not let pseudo-science and scare mongering take this right away.

My dog loves raw and she does extremely well on it. I love the ingredients and would never feed her kibble. Look at the ingredient differences! Raw food does not have the horrible ingredients that can be found in Purina or Royal Canin foods. There are no mystery meats, no artificial flavorings or colors. If you wouldn’t eat it, why should my dog have to eat it? Please let us feed our pets what we feel is the safest and best food.

This regulation is obviously being bought and paid for by the giant conglomerates making garbage "pet food"

We treat raw dog food in the same method as we deal with chicken and have not had any issues!!!! It’s all in how you practice safe handling!!!!

I have the right to feed my dog whatever I would like. Stay out of these businesses who have helping our dogs to have a better health and live longer lives.

Understanding what a safe, raw diet can do to keep your pet healthy is the most important thing we can do for our fur babies. It saves life’s, keeps them healthy and you get to love them even longer. Even the best kibble is like feeding them the best cereal. Think of what they would eat in the wild. Not kibble. Please educate yourself and open your mind to keep our fur babies safe and around for as long as we can have them. We should however have responsible resources raw options. Not every product is good for our pets. Education is key. We like to know where our food comes and we should know where their food comes from. Thank you!!

FDA needs to check any animal food sold in stores.
