Fight for Your Right to Buy Minimally Processed Pet Food

Yes, I want to be able to buy minimally processed pet food.

I work at Healthy Pet Products, in the South hills of Pittsburgh. I have been giving goats milk for a year now and am starting my cat on answers raw!

My pet's health issues have COMPLETELY reversed since switching to raw. From a young cat prone to kidney/UT issues to a 14y/o mini schnauzer with enlarged liver issues. It's time to do what's right for our animals, not what's right for someone else's wallet.

Animals are just as equal as humans, if not more valuable.

My dog had health issues for years and was even prescribed the heavy steroid Prednisone to take indefinitely for skin irritations by well known vets. His quality of life on prednisone was compromised and the skin problems continued despite the drug. I finally decided to go raw and after 4 months he is like a new dog. He is now going on 10 plus miles runs and is in better health at 8.5 than he has ever been since I adopted him 4 years ago. If the FDA takes raw dog food away from us it's just more proof that our government and it's agencies work for corporations and lobbyists, not for THE PEOPLE like the constitution states.

There is nothing else out there for my pugs with seizures and allergies unless I make it! Love this pet food!

Kibble is unnatural and very damaging, people should have the option and right to feed raw to their pets. This is most natural to their bodies!!

I have been feeding my dogs a raw diet for over a year and have seen significant improvements in their general health - weight, coats, teeth. I expect to see even more positive benefits as they age. This industry does not need excessive government regulation. This will only benefit the large commercial pet food companies who do NOT maintain the same level of high quality as smaller, hands on pet food companies.

I am sadden that more and more of our right to choose for ourselves in many venues are being taken away. Scary...who is in control?

If cigarettes are known to cause cancer and other diseases from smoking why are they permitted to be manufactured and sold. Feeding raw is a choice and proven to be less harmful than kibble. How many kibble brands have been recalled in the last year. I believe the answer is too many.

My dogs are healthier and live longer on a raw diet than my friends who feed kibble.

Our fur kids eat raw and it's too hard to find! Especially with a decent bone and veggie content

I have fed raw to my show standard poodles for over 6 years. Their health is noticeably better on a natural raw diet. We have had ZERO issues with any digestive issues or salmonella in our dogs or the humans feeding it. Citizens of the United states should have every right to feed our pets as we see fit. I dont need the government "protecting" me. I can protect myself! I feel this is just another way for the big dog food companies to protect their market share. Mass produced dry and canned foods have plenty of issues of contagion from disgusting ingredient sources including 4D meat sources. Keep a level playing field for all types of pet food companies instead of protecting BIG BUSINESS! We are sick of Gov't interference in our lives!!!!

The canine’s stomach is designed to eat raw food. There are so many health benefits. It is natural, non processed food and it is good for dogs!

Continue to allow canines (dogs) to be fed biologically appropriate foods including raw meats & fish.

Proud to feed my dogs what they love and what keeps them healthy!

Continue to allow consumers to choose NOT to feed cereal products manufactured by the corporate conglomerate! Pet owners need choices and raw dog food is no more dangerous that the raw meat sold in the grocery store for human consumption. STOP the Campaign of Fear!
