Stop messing with independent raw pet food manufacturers

My dogs thrive on raw dog food. Why would I want to feed heavily processed dog food that is not species appropriate.

I strongly agree with this.

Darwin's Raw and their perscription diets have proven to be a lifeline for my dogs for several years now.

Why is this an issue?

My dogs have never been healthier since I went to raw food. A German Shepherd living until 14 with no health problems is unheard of.

We have the right to go to the store and buy hamburger for ourselves. We can feed it to our pets, too, raw or cooked. I'm not sure why this should be regulated.

Please allow people to buy proper nutrition for their pets.

Those of us who feed raw and minimally processed food to our pets are not kooks who can't think. We are wise, loving stewards of our pets and take seriously the care of them to which we are entrusted.Education, not regulation is the answer.

I have the right to feed my dogs raw food. I would put raw against kibble any day and raw would be way more nutritious and healthy. Keep the government out of what my dogs eat!

I've been feeding raw for close to 20 years. In EVERY case, my dogs were more healthy than any of the pets on processed dog food. Raw food is not the problem. Careless people are the problem and no amount of legislation will prevent them from mishandling food.

Thanks to the raw and fermented raw food I got my beloved companion health back, naturally, her teeth got cleaned ( naturally ) with out paying the price for cleaning, her coat is shiny and doesn’t smell bad, her breath bad smell is also gone. I will not feed the kibble again, even if I have to do my diy raw feed.

My dogs are much healthier than when I rescued them due to eating raw and minimally processed food. We should have the right to feed the most healthy foods possible to our pets! BIg companies only have their pocket book in mind and not the best interest of pets or pet owners.

My dogs do very well on a raw diet. The processed dog food just has artificial nutrients added because there is nothing left after they get done processing it. My dogs were getting sick often when I fed that way.

Please let me feed my dogs the best food for them.

Stop thinking we are stupid and can't make decisions for the welfare of our furry partners. We read articles and see the science and love the furry friends we live with and see their health records. Leave greed out of this and leave us to decide a few important issues.
