Once again the ruling party, the ANC, and the SAPS has shown how little they care and understand. This is a direct threat to law abiding citisens of South Africa and their ability and right to protect themselves to the out of controll criminal element in South Africa.

This is crazy and will leave the public at the mercy of criminals, against whom the SAPS cannot defend us. SA is a crime ridden country. Any reasonable court will find against the intended new law. We as ordinary citizens will fight this , at all cost, to the bitter end !!

This is an absolute step backwards, we as lawfull citizens are under attack again, but criminals can run free and cause havoc. It's not just about legal firearms, but how many people can loose their jobs if the firearm industry collapses, we cannot afford for thousands of tax payers to loose their careers the economy is already hard as it is.

The s State has failed the citizenry. We have a right to life, which means the right to self defense. MP’s with multiple bodyguards and personal security funded by the citizenry have no right to remove OUR innate right to defend our life , loved ones and means of survival.

Disarming Law Abiding citizens will only increase violent crime, as criminals will be active as they will have no fear of being harmed. Laws do not curb crime and gun laws do not disarm criminals. In SA the SAPS is unable to provide safety to the citizens, and it is irrational to disarm law-abiding citizens.
