We demand safe and clean streets on the Upper West Side

Disgraceful ! How many hotels on the Upper East Side are sheltering?Local politicians are totally ineffective. Helen Rosenthal and City Council funding this with Mayor.

Please help keep our UWS neighborhood safe. The radical shift is alarming.

Please provide safe streets for our women and children. Move homeless shelters away. Get the drug addicts off the streets

The streets on the upper west side have become intolerable. This is an extremely safety issue and having people hang out on the streets also presents a sanitation issue as I have walked by many people dealing drugs on the street and shooting up drugs as well as defecating on the streets.

I am not only sickened by this incompetent mayors decision and overall capitulation to skewed social justice virtue signaling, I am equally disappointed by the Duped citizenry that elected him. Twice.

This is dangerous to children and woman! How is this acceptable? We pay high rent and taxes. These are drug addicts and rapists who are getting a free ride to continue their abuse in a safe and residential area.

Please help us to keep our neighborhood as the beautiful, safe, positive, clean place that it has been.

We demand safer streets. Increase police funding. Get rid of Antifa and enough with the protesting. We get it, we here you. Go back to work and school and normalcy.

We are outraged that we as property owners taxpayers and parents were not given the chance to vote on this plan to bring drug addicts into our residential neighborhood. We as the uws community already live with public housing, SROs and homelessness all around us. Please find hotels in other neighborhoods to house these people and get them the proper help they need for rehabilitation into society.

This is not acceptable. This is a family community. There is a place for everybody but this is not the right place.

Now that you’ve relocated drug addicts and sex offenders into our neighborhood, I’d like to know what specific steps are being taken to ensure the safety of our community.

I live on the same block and fear for children, women, and businesses that are battling to get back on their feet. It's a family oriented area and now in the hands of recovering drug addicts and sex offenders to close for comfort. I do t like this idea at all! We're in a pandemic and now fuel has been thrown to the fire!!!!!

If you want a mass exodus of taxpayers and law abiding citizens keep letting the city deteriorate. There are many other places to live that are kept clean and safe.

We need cleaner and safer streets on the UWS
