While everyone needs a safe place to live, residential areas with children are not a reasonable place to shelter sex offenders and drug addicts. Protecting homeless people should not be at the expense of the children and families living in this area. Why would you relocate 300 men within two blocks of children’s playground when W51st street residents complained about them?

the Belnord hotel has inhabitants that blatantly throw trash, smoke marijuana on the corner and menace neighbors walking up the street i have complained to no avail, also no one wears masks and the guards do not care when you ask if they witnessed any of the above behavior, also there are several inhabitants that are clearly off their medicine and are a danger to everyone, its been a nightmare since they have moved in and no one cares

Homeless male drug addicts and sex offenders do NOT BELONG in the upper west side residential neighborhood hotels where families live. Homeless women and children should be there instead. This is outrageous! No one in the neighborhood feels safe with these men here. I was attacked this year by a homeless man living in a shelter. This is unacceptable.

Protecting homeless people should not be at the expense of the children and families living in this area. Our three kids under 5 do not need to live on the same block as sex offenders and drug users. Why can’t these particular people in need be relocated to midtown hotels near vacant businesses and not in the heart of this residential neighborhood full of young children and elderly residents?

This is the way disgusting DeBlassio takes care of the citizens of his city. He should be brought up on charges of abuse of power.
