We, the community, should have had a say and been able to vote on this.

Please let the community know what “temporary shelter” means in real time. Who is supervising groups congregating on benches on broadway median? Why aren’t the encamped homeless in the neighborhood being moved into these shelters and off the street?

Help us on the UWS-take care of these people in a proper faculty where they can get treatment.

I have lived on the UWS since 1978!!! This is the first time we have gone backwards. I am glad my children are gown. Please help save one of the most beautiful parts of NYC. And please make it safe again

Safe and clean streets!

The upper west side deteriorates on a daily basis. It is heartbreaking.

How will NYC survive if they ruin the neighborhoods in which people pay the most taxes? Between SALT cap and the mismanagement other states never looked better

This a family neighborhood. You cannot do this injustice act to us. Put this people in a place where they can get rehabilitation and tools to live, but not in a place where people now need to worry... They need to be put in a secluded place and given help, not ‘dumped’ in a decent neighborhood...

Clean up the streets so it is safe or everyone.

Please remove potentially dangerous people, as there are many young children in the area!

It’s ridiculous that I am scared to walk in my own neighborhood. This must stop! It’s the downfall of the UWS.

This is unacceptable. There are schools in close proximity that potentially will have children traveling to and from walking by these hotels
