Yeah it’s getting rough up here. Lived here since the 80s and now would not let my child walk down the street.

I have three teenage daughters who are learning what streets to avoid lest they witness something frightening, or be victimized. Please, do something to keep us safe.

These people don't belong in a residential neighborhood.

we really need help, there is a lot of homeless and some others who are scary to see and intimidating. My family doesn't feel safe anymore. One day a homeless came to me for money, just because I didn't give him some he got upset and started to say bad words.

There are at least five current homeless shelters within a twenty block radius. One is for methadone clients, another has some sex offenders. Please stop destroying our neighborhood by putting so many within a narrow radius.

The Upper West Side is home to many young children. It is absolutely unacceptable to have so many drug addicts and homeless people on the streets creating an unsafe environment for them.

UWS resident whose child goes to school across the street from the Lucerne. Rosenthal shows zero concern for anybody but herself. We are being held hostage but people who refuse help and by people who aren’t getting enough help, when there are homeless families who would be far better served by being accommodated here. This has to stop.

I was assaulted on 96th street two weeks ago - the Street I’ve called home and for which I’ve paid taxes for 15 years to keep safe. I’m appalled at how unsafe the neighborhood has become in just a few short weeks. This is a total disgrace and requires a change in leadership. I am disgusted and appalled.

After 50 years on the UWS, I am thinking of moving. de Blasio and the Democratic party is responsible for the deterioration of NYC in general.
