This initiative had no element of working together. The mayor’s office needs to held accountable.

I't does not disturb me that homeless have been located in the UWS but drug addicts and mentally ill is not acceptable. If the other petition thinks it's ok then they have issues to deal with. How can anyone want those types in a family neighborhood with many elderly people as well. Located homeless families in our area or a single parent with young children is fine with me but putting 600 people with no local input is a disgrace just as our mayor is.

I have been accosted by homeless people walking down Broadway. The streets have old clothes and garbage, overturned trash bins and human excrement. I have seen this neighborhood decline rapidly. I’m afraid to go out of the house after 8pm. Please stop the madness!

380 homeless men who need social services moved into just one location -the Lucerne- just too many - does the City have the staff ready to step in and provide all the social services needed?

Relocating 500+ homeless adult males, many with mental illness and criminal records, to a densely populated neighborhood filled with families and children without consulting or even informing the residents was beyond thoughtless. Shame on the politicians who did this. If this is indeed "temporary," as Helen Rosenthal claims, can she please have her office release or link to the contracts with the Belleclaire, Belnord and Lucerne? And if she doesn't have the contracts, can she please fight to get them so she can share them with her constituents? We deserve to know what's in our future, and she is supposed to represent us.
