DeBlasio and Helen Rosenthal have destroyed our wonderful UWS/Lincoln Square neighborhood in the most amazing city in the world. They were both handed an exceptional neighborhood and city on a silver platter. All they had to do was maintain all the goodness that was done. Should have been simple. But instead they were intent on total destruction. They are disgraceful and do not deserve to represent the hard working people of the UWS/LS and all NYC.

Our neighborhood is deteriorating with tons of homeless men moving in. UWS has to be saved.

It is heartbreaking what has happened to the UWS and the city since Di Blassio took over. Thank god I sold my apartment and was able to leave

I’ve already witnessed troubling behavior whereas the so-called security provided to keep watch at the Lucern is truly a joke. I was actually followed by one of the homeless men (I thankfully managed to get away). I’ve witnessed hoards of homeless men gathered on 79th & Broadway and 3 other blocks not properly wearing masks and drinking. I’ve witnessed a homeless man on 79th Street openly urinating in the middle of the sidewalk. A homeless man was found sleeping on a bench located directly in front of my building. Our neighborhood is full of families with children therefore we absolutely cannot afford to have dangerous sex offenders and drug addicts wandering around the neighborhood. The ratio of so many homeless MEN wandering throughout the neighborhood causes concern that women, children and our elderly are in danger of the possibility of crimes being committed against them. Where are the police? I’ve emailed and sent a photo of a crowd of homeless men not properly wearing masks and drinking to Helen Rosenthal’s entire office, our NY State Senator’s office and our Manhattan Borough President’s office. Thus far I’ve only received feedback from one person in Rosenthal’s office who suggested we all continue to take pictures and video of any of the homeless men’s misbehavior and forward those pictures/video to Rosenthal’s office. The mayor and Helen Rosenthal have ruined our neighborhood and must be held accountable.

This is not fixing a problem . It is creating a problem . We now live in the homeless and dangerous UWS. Rosenthal is an elected offical and must be voted out . Don’t anyone forget when it is election day . What about the children ? You have destroyed our neighborhood. We must unite to end this homeless negative invation no one asked for . Compassion fo the homeless should not kill our neighborhood

This is a completely inappropriate answer to a very real problem. DeBlasio is an utter disgrace to our city, IMO.

Safety and health risks due to 3 homeless hotels within 10 blocks, near school complex, these men are dangerous, stabbing 72 street subway, spitting in people, robberies, mental illness, sex offenders, drug addicts, I was assaulted, homeless embankments on many blocks, afraid to leave my apartment , afraid for my daughters .
