Please relocate these men and women - the neighborhood is no longer safe and I certainly do not want to be harassed for simply running errands in my neighborhood. These men and women have no vested interest in the community and Helen Rosenthal should be ashamed of herself for letting this happen. I have been verbally harassed by them on number or occasions "as far away" as Riverside park. I am disgusted.

As a resident of the community and mom of two school aged girls who used to walk around themselves, I am dismayed that the city officials think the current state of affairs should be acceptable for uws families.

This situation is a disgrace and demonstrates a level of incompetence among our elected and appointed officials that is unacceptable.

Upper west side does not feel secure anymore. Who would put registered sex offenders and recovering alcoholics next to kids playgrounds, and 3 public schools? It’s a trouble waiting to happen.

This is done for the hotel lobby and other nefarious groups. These new slumlords are getting millions of tax$ to house these people WE are paying for this, they think they are so clever. Wait till thousands move here to get the free luxury housing. Who will buy up the abandoned real estate after anyone with brains and money flees? Hmmm

I moved to the upper west side in the ‘70s. It was a dark place back then. It looks worse now. This is a family community. How dare this despicable mayor devastate our community like this giving us no say and no warning. The tax revenue we generate on the upper west side needs to be reciprocated!!! ANGRY WEST SIDER!

I am scared to leave my house in the middle of the day. This is ridiculous, we pay a fortune to live in this area and now it is extremely dangerous. Remove the homeless before anyone else gets hurt!
