Homeless shelters are promised under Title 24 part 576 of federal code. No US citizen can oppose Federal code, and no Circuit or District Court judge can rule against Federal code. I am alleging that your baseless rants and raves are based purely on discrimination against the homeless -- and I have filed a formal complaint with the US Attorney General because you people do not know what you are talking about. Your arguments are based on ignorance and discrimination . . . Arguments based entirely on discrimination cannot be considered in this United States of America. Therefore, your entire petition is worthless. No one can consider it because you are arguing against the Federal government and Title 24 part 576 of Federal code. I hope everyone who signed this petition is dragged into court and charged Civil Rights violations and Treason against the US Government. Get over it!

Very upset NO ONE gets informed about shelters!
I attended a meeting at John Jay a year ago and everyone was very compassionate about homelessness but felt it should not be nears schools and public parks! Would ANY elected official want to hear about deaths with teens or adults from other states that were unaware of how severe the situation is?

why aren’t the hotels on Park Ave selected ? why UWS dumping ground- there is 1 social service program in Tribeca and at least 60 on UWS. where is the Fair Share for UWS residents? City officials need to go.

I would WELCOME! homeless women or families with children! Especialy those who work! But these 283 men do NOT seem to be in recovery. Rather, they seem to be on lots of drugs. And thus, yes. Dangerous .
