The residents of hotels deserve access to support in order to rehab (therapy, detox etc). Plunking them in a residential neighborhood with no assistance is just unsafe not only to UWS residents but to the addicts themselves.

I support shelter for the homeless I do NOT support sexual predators on the street exposing themselves and other sexual acts in front of my niece and on another occasion her 17 year old daughter...... among many others... whoever is in charge of these safe spaces for the homeless is failing the people of the upper West Side.....where are the police? They should be ultra vigilant in these neighborhoods..... Are they sulking or doing their version of the Postal slowdown?

Our streets must be made safe again. This is where people live and do business. We will not run away and let our streets be overtaken.

Re-fund the police and sanitation. Don’t understand why the city/state is trying to make this city unsafe and unclean. I appreciate and rdiversity but that doesn’t mean that the city should be a “heaven” for criminals.

It took decades to bring New York & the Upper West Side to be a thriving sharing community. It took weeks under De Blasio to ruin it. It’s not too late...!

Upper West Side was always considered a safe, family oriented neighborhood but now nobody can feel safe even during day time.

My retirement is at risk. The value of my apt is dropping and I will not be able to sell or pay for it unless we offer a decent community

I really do not like these homeless here. I have a daughter and I get nervous when there I know drug addicts and child abusers all around.

We need to clean up the upper Westside
It is unacceptable the amount of homeless and drug addicted that are running the upper Westside. Mayor deblasio should do something
