I support you on this issue is not fair paying so much rent to live in a decent area. And have to worry about safety and we’ll being. Keep voting for these democratic politicians that they are taking this city and put it down the toilet

Please find a way to balance the needs of the neighborhood which has always been a wonderful place to live until these changes were made which is obviously destroying our safety and introducing behavior that our children do not need to see firsthand.

It’s not safe to our community

In opposing this permanent shelter to protect our financial district neighborhood, one of the major points to note is the differentiation between groups of homeless people. The shelter system is insufficient for people who are potentially dangerous or mentally unstable. It's not the resources they need anyway. A shelter for families experiencing economic instability would make more sense in a family sense neighborhood.

Signing for the safety of our neighborhood and NYC’s negligence in protecting its community.

The Dept of Homeless Services need to find locations outside of crowded residential/business neighborhoods for housing. If they want hotels, the majority of hotels at the airports remain closed. Why can’t those be used??!!

We have kids and schools in this FIDI neighborhood that should not have a hotel with homeless men.

This is not acceptable. Don’t move homeless to downtown. We seem to be the forgotten part of the city. We have enough homeless n crazy down here. The mayor can keep everyone at Gracie Mansion. And he can clean up our city or step down.

In the last 6 months I no longer recognize downtown. It’s no longer safe to walk along or with kids. Adding the more homeless to already terrible undlsafe neighborhood is a crime. Save our kids

Please represent your constituents wishes and not your own ideology. We want the police to act and to protect your constituents on the upper west side. Remove the homeless from the hotels back to proper shelters and do this immediately!

My daughter is a student at Fordham at Lincoln Center. She was born in NY and we lived on the Upper West Side. I am dismayed by what is happening there and would like Helen Rosenthal to consider the safety of all residents including the vulnerable student population.

I moved my family to this neighborhood a few years ago to start a new phase of life. I am an apartment owner. I want the UWS to be a great neighborhood. This is not about NIMBY. This is about safety.

This neighborhood has sadly deteriorated back to the dangerous streets I experienced when I first moved here in 1975!

We run children’s schools. We are very concerned about safety.
