Im not a politician, lawyer, advocate, or anything else. All I know is right is right. Right now there is a brother from our community, Raheem Scott, who is behind bars , without bond, for tragically taking another man's life. I do not condone that, but that man was in the process of stealing something from a law abiding citizen. Those actions led to his demise. If Zimmerman can kill a kid who was not committing a crime and received a bond and ultimately be found innocent, I feel the same due process should be applied here. This petition is to have Raheem Scott awarded a fair bond, similar to Zimmerman. This is the first step in assuring equality is granted in our justice system

If a person has no criminal history and the incident is involving a situation where he found himself trying to stop a crime where he was being violated, why would he not be granted a bond.
My little cousin was just defending himself. Please release him from custody and remove this ridiculous murder charge. Since when does the victim get charged? If he wasn't a young black male he wouldn't be in jail.
I'm very upset that Raheem is even having to go through something like this. Stand your ground laws does and should apply to everyone including minority's. He did what anyone would do in his situation STOOD HIS GROUND and protected& defended himself AND his property ! FREE RAHEEM
He had every right to do what he did. It's a lot of people getting their cars stolen in Atlanta and they are getting killed for fighting back so I guess he figured I'm not going to die today
I didn't know him personally but I did go to high school with him. He was smart & very quiet. Never got in trouble & I believe his intentions was not for the man to die but what is left for a person to do in that situation! Having a gun maybe but murder??? No way that is justice! Prayer for all of those involved in this tragedy! #FreeRaheem

The law states that YOU CAN USE FORCE if the crime is a Felony and car theft is a felony. So because the thief was able to steal the car without actual force we are supposed to just let them go?
