Sometimes you have to consider the spirit of the rule.
This is a kid. Football is a game. A little perspective would go a long way here.

Let the boy play ball!! The school has paid a high price in $$ and suspension of coach, why should the child pay for adults decision making!!

I played college ball and know what it’s like to have an entity try and take your eligibility. He’s a high school kid that just wants to play football and have an opportunity at a higher level. Something this small should not dictate a young mans future in a sport. I do not agree with the way full grown adults are handling this situation. I just ask that you remember he is still a kid, not a full grown adult. He has a dream to play football...let the kid play and give him the opportunity to fulfill his dream.

Vanderbilt coach and any administrators involved should be fired and disciplined for their despicable actions.

As a former LHSSA student athlete who went through an altercation with these men ... I know how it feels to lose something so close ... I was fortunate enough to be in my junior year .. some were not ... the question of “what can we do differently” seems to always get these guys ... Let this man Play football... don’t wait until it’s too late
