This is a kid of integrity, truth and a role mode to all students. I have known him many years and he is the one friend of my kids I always trusted them to be with. He was never in trouble & made good choices. This is completely wrong the way he has been set up in this situation and for the committee to not state facts as to what he could have done differently. Please overturn this corrupt decision for this fine young man. It’s his future we are talking about.

This young man exhibits the courage, grace, and skill we need in this country right now. He was treated unfairly by a bully coach with a grudge. Who will it hurt to let him play?

A year, really? A senior year at that. What did Andrew even receive, a bit of notoriety? Brother Martin must have broken some pretty minor rules to get themselves a fine while Andrew did so little but wound up with a death penalty. Be reasonable LHSAA, before the legislature finds a better way to govern high school sports. If not, that'll happen much sooner, rather than later... or at least until after the next travesty.

I think this is horrible what lhsaa is doing to that child, He could have well been suspended a few games for inadvertently wearing the jersey and then let play! Adults suck sometimes

This event has proven that LHSAA needs to look at how they manage high school sports!

With all the information known, how can the LHSAA uphold this bogus decision? This is outright ridiculous. LHSAA needs to provide a better reason for this decision or allow him to play football.

Enforcement of rules without reasonableness or compassion has no value. Grace and mercy extended has a lasting impact on people.

I am so surprised that Vandebilt would do this to their fellow athletes. Schocking to see a school do that when they suppose support thier students in anything they do.

Let the kid play! Not sure what’s going on down there! Politics?

This child deserves to play football, especially it being his senior year. It is unfair that he won’t be able to impress colleges with his skill especially in this day and age where you need all the scholarships you can get to help you receive the best education you can get. Please allow him to play.
