Build quality sports fields for Kenmore's children now! [301 electronic and written signatures collected so far!]

Please Kenmore City Council, this request is very simply for the people, Families and most importantly, children of Kenmore. Increasing outdoor activity options is so important, especially now. Please do the right thing and make Kenmore better by providing quality fields for kids to play.

This is the right thing to do and long overdue

We need new fields now!

As the president of Northshore Select Club (NSC), we see ~1000 youth age 9 through 18 come to tryouts on an annual basis. NSC provides select level competitive soccer to ~750 of these kids. NSC primarily serves NSD. A top reason we cannot serve more kids is LACK of Field space.

The kids in Kenmore deserve more fields for sports activities. Please make this happen! Children need the advantage of being able to play sports in their spare time, it is a very positive activity for them.

Sending our kids to Edmonds for practice until 8 pm on school nights because we don't have enough soccer fields in Kenmore is totally unacceptable!

Sports are extremely important for kids growing up. It teaches life skills. They need multiple quality places to play!

More fields in Kenmore!! Our children deserve this!

Do it for the kids!

We need this to continue on! It is your responsibility to invest in resources for this great community. These fields were poorly done the first time around and the young families in this area deserve quality play fields.

It's so sad that OUR City Council has reversed direction and lost the trust of the community. They've demonstrated that they'll listen to private developers for the lodge in Saint Edwards, but not those families in the community.

I look forward to seeing what action the council takes to move forward on ball field solutions. We all know it is easy to be against everything but it takes courage and commitment to actually be solution oriented.

Kenmore needs better fields, our current fields are an embarrassment as a community. Our kids deserve better!

More sports fields for the kids!

We need fields!!!!!

Lifelong resident who knows the need from a child athlete to now a parent for the need to have more field.

Please reconsider!

Back in the day when I played little league in Kenmore, there was 2 fields behind the Safeway. Cheering from the crowds could be heard throughout the downtown area. All the teams usually had a patch on the back of the jersey sporting the name of the local business that was sponsoring. Sad to see the lack of commitment to support an activity that helps bring our local community together. Sure enjoy attending sporting events at the Woodinville complex. It really brings life to their downtown area. Kenmore had that vision for families when I was a kid. What happened?

Invest in community resources. Failing to plan in planning to fail.

Please complete the study. The city is growing and we need to repair these existing fields and provide a safe place for children to play, exercise and it still retains many acres of natural land for those (like us too) who enjoy hiking. More children live here, and more taxes are being generated to fund this.
