It is so hard for my son and his friends to find a place to play. So many baseball fields, basketball courts etc. Love for the sport is growing tremendously. Please help . I live in Community Board 12

Kids really need field to practice. Anytime you have rain or snow that prevent many soccer practice and games from taking place st Pier 40. Sombething needs to be done. Also, the city does not have space for soccer players to practice.

Field space has been getting diminished in lower Manhattan for decades mainly due to over development of buildings. It’s an urgent concern of responsible city development to have fields for our youth to play and participate in athletics. Please be the front runner in this effort to restore fields to the community.
