Field athletes train just as hard as track athletes and deserve the recognition. Hammer especially is getting a more popular sport and is drawing large crowds at events all over the country. Time to aknowledge their hard work and dedication too.

I have been disappointed for a number of years now with the lack of field events, especially throws, which BBC covers in track & field. I much prefer to view athletic competitions via other broadcasters. I also feel that too much time is given to the presenters and airing their opinions.

Would like to see more of the throwing events shown when the athlete programmes are televised.

It is bad enough that most of the heavy throws get relegated to outside cages. We need to encourage more people into the field events and using the coverage on the television is one on the best ways for this to happen

Agree completely. Maybe the BBC could even make savings by shedding some from their athletics coverage team!

Equal coverage of the events is good journalism. Include knowledgeable analysis from expert coaches during the replays.

Agree totally. BBC normally take about 15minutes before you see any action and then it's always track. Let's swap re-runs of past glories for current field action.
