filling time-space with repetitive , over-analytical @ bland chat is not entertaining- the BBC used to do track AND FIELD so well

Please can we have some equality in the coverage. Some of the most spectacular events are the long throws.

It would be nice to see more field events on tv! Especially shotput, discus and hammer throw since these are the least shown.

Our son throw and won wyc in cali but they prefer to show 200 semi final

Couldn't agree more. If they spent less time showing replays of races they may have more time to show the more technical events. Athletics isnt all about who can run the fastest

Actions speak louder than words, So it would be nice to see Athletics which include both Track and Field rather than all the talking and analyzing of track events being shown in full at the expense of Throwing and Jumping. Sorry BBC but Eurosport will get my viewing figure until you give Athletic Track & Field Equal coverage without all the unnecessary talking in between events.

Definitely need more field events shown on TV, especially the javelin. We have a long and illustrious history -Steve Backley, Tessa Sanderson, Fatima Whitbread, Mick Hill - and lots of strong throwers coming through.

As a thrower and coach it is enormously frustrating to not see all the field events, qualifying rounds as well as the finals: I have given up on BBC and watch Eurosport as they do show the above, equally bad commentary but at least we do see the throwers and jumpers.
About time too.
