Lack of any form of higher speed broadband/internet will limit the ability for my work from home business to thrive. FNDC website is making false claims with respect to Broadband rollout and the exclusion of Kohukohu as a key contributor to the regions growth.

It makes sense for Fibre to be in Kohukohu .. We have a lot of people needing it, and many who work from home who desperately need it.We also need to be up to date with the rest of the country.

As a tourism business owner, many of our guests and cycle tourists use Kohukohu for services. There has been significant investment in our community into accommodation and heritage tourism and a boat service to the cycle trail is planned for this summer . Improved internet services for Kohukohu properties assists economic development.

It is crucial that our community receives this technology so all residents have access to the best available for their needs.

I don’t see wy our area here in Kohukohu should not be connected to higher speed broadband. Are you suggesting that we are here in the far north people in second or third class???? Maybe we should bring that issue in the would wide web and before Gouvernement to let the world known how we are getting treated by you. People here in Kohukohu paying one of the highes rates in NZ, we don’t have a proper post office, not getting our parcels delivered to our front door, we don’t have rubbish collection and no town water connection. We don’t even have a super market near by and we still have to pay very high rates! So and now you are saying we not even are worthy to get an proper broadband connection. Very, very poor indeed!!! Wake up NZ and handle all the people here in NZ equally.

Isolated communities should not be excluded, and to be fair, the council does bugger all for us anyway.
