Internet access is available in the neighborhood through GVTC or satellite, but is too slow and expensive. Many of us work from home, and are needing a better solution.

I have been reading your stories about struggling with spotty connections while trying to work and it really puts into perspective how much we all need this change. I am just putting together a package of these messages to send over to the providers so they see exactly who is being affected by the current situation. Thank you for trusting me to help lead the way on this project.

I am honestly overwhelmed by how many neighbors joined this effort since I first posted it. This momentum belongs entirely to the residents who spoke up about our shared need for better connection. It really shows how much we can achieve when we talk about our problems out loud.

We would like access to fiber for internet service. Looks like it has recently been extended to within a half mile of Stallion Springs.
It may seem that this area is more of a vacation place, that's just not the case. It's our home and more and more people are retiring and moving here permanently. Our neighborhood is growing at a very fast pace and internet providers need to keep up! My husband and I were disappointed when we found out fiber optics installation was stopping at the high school(which is LESS than a mile from our neighborhood). There are many people who want and need this option. Our community is only going to get bigger.
We were told when we got our slow internet service with GVTC that in about a year it would probably be coming in . That will soon be three years ago. We would love to have the high speed internet at a competitive price.
my GVTC bill increased by 20 bucks this month and I still do not have fiber optics. I have been a GVTC member since 1989.
We have complained and requested a faster service for years. We cannot even load a short video without delay. Terrible when it affects my job.
Since it's available, I would like to have it.
We really need this. Internet is so slow. We live here year round as do almost all of our neighbors.

Please upgrade our neighborhood i have been a customer for 10 years loyally dealing with slow internet we are nit a vacation neighborhood and we have grown in residents
