Dear Sir / Madam
With reference to the the existing situation, we, parents of LEAMS Education Schools, appreciate the Institutions’ continuous support and back the decision of the school’s closure for the safety of its students. However, we feel that it is unjustified that LEAMS is demanding a full fee payment of 'E Learning Program'.
It is important to address that the online learning platform is not a complete alternate, but rather a supplement to the Term Education. Parents have to put in more than 5-7 hours a day, assisting children to complete the daily assigned lessons, provide resources, stationary, technology, not to mention the added mental strain and pressure of working from home simultaneously.
In addition to this, the children are not attending school in full, neither using the premises, utilities, facilities nor all extra circular activities which are now closed until further notice thus reducing the school’s costs.
Moreover, Keeping the current situation in mind, the government has clearly created policies in place which gives the employers a choice to reduce the salaries appropriately. While in no way we are supporting paycuts for teachers, the financial implications of this decision must not be passed on to the parents.
Over the course of last few weeks, we have seen businesses and companies suffer, families across the city taking the brunt of this situation- most employees are being laid off, forced to take unpaid leave or are facing pay cuts. Most Businesses are struggling and commercial activity has now come to a complete halt. These are severely difficult times for all of us.
Considering these prevailing conditions, many schools in are supporting the parents and have announced reductions in fees.
As prominent education providers in the UAE, we expect LEAMS to lead the way by example and therefore, we collectively appeal to LEAMS Education for a minimum 50% Fees Reduction for the 'E-Learning Program' and also waive off the Annual Fees being imposed on us. For those parents that have already paid, we request their payments to be adjusted against the upcoming payments.
These are difficult times for all of us, and we hope LEAMS will play its part.

Dear Sir, Hope everyone doing well. I am raising concern on collection of Annual Activities and Facilities Fee and NO REDUCTION in Tuition fee as lots of parents financial position (Job Lost and Pay cut) affected due to COVID-19 impact. According to MOE, School can collect only Tuition fee due to REMOTE LEANING. NO OTHER FEE can collect the school which are not going to perform right now. Moreover, lot of schools has offered discount in Tuition fee as well. So, I am expecting to take necessary action on both points. For Instant, I also have 10% Salary reduction from my company and 20% staff reduction. Our sincere request to consider above proposal, so together we can survive this difficult time. Agreeing to the demands raised in petition. Fees is not commensurate to the service received. Tuition fees is inclusive of many facilities and other service fee which we dont enjoy now.
School Monthly Fees should be reduced by 50% and annual activity fees has to be refunded as most of the families are going through financial crisis during this pandemic either by unpaid leave or job loss.
Seeing to the current scenario, I hope LEAMS Education (IQRA) will take this petition into consideration and do the needful. It would be very much appreciated.

I am totally unsatifisfied. 1. There should be Tuition fee reduction as the classes are held only for two session of 40 min each. Tuition fees is AED 760 which is same as last year and there has been no reduction despite several requests. 2. We are asked to pay Annual fees of AED 900 when no infrastucture of school is being used. 3. We were made to pay AED 650 for books and stationery. While only books were distributed, we were told stationery will be kept in school and for all e-learning at home we have to buy separately. While for a KG student AED 650 itself is an exhorbitant fee for books, the stationery not being given despite payment is totally unfair.
