Casey Anthony was aquitted of murder in the State of Florida when as a nation we believe that there was sufficient evidence to prove her guilty of murdering her daughter Caylee Anthony. Due to the law of double jeopardy which states that it is a procedural defense that forbids a defendant from being tried again on the same, or similar charges following a legitimate acquittal or conviction. According to the Dual Sovereignty Doctrine which is a legal doctrine holding that more than one sovereign (State and Federal Governments) may prosecute an individual withough violating prohibition against double jeopardy if the individuals acts break the laws of each sovereignty. Casey Anthony did break the laws on the state and Federal level. Homicide on the Federal level being one charge along with other Federal laws. We believe that Casey Anthony should be charged with homicide on a Federal Level. Please sign this petition if you think that the FBI should turn over evidence involved in this case to the US Attorney's Office. Examples that have surfaced of her commiting a federal crime include her lying to FBI Agent Nick Savage about believing Caylee was still alive, and according to her own defense she already knew she was dead.
