I believe dogs should be allowed in our parks. However, I also believe, dog owners should be fined if they do not pick up their dog's feces. I have two dogs.

Would FDL consider banning children from parks because they hit, spit, are loud and occasionally poop in the water? Equally ridiculous notion that dogs should be banned. How about we assume that everyone is a responsible, community minded citizen, and then deal with those that aren't, rather than punishing all.

This makes sense. Don't punish responsible dog owners because of worry from the irresponsible few.

I believe dogs should be able to walk the parks with their owners.

All dog owners should be responsible and willing to accept consequences for their dogs actions and pick up after them on the spot

Allowing dogs in the parks increases visitors. It is not healthy for dogs to be left in hot cars while out of town owners visit the parks.

Follow the rules and we will all live happily. If you have a dog that is not social don't take them to the park to terrorize other dogs or folks who are enjoying the space. Only you know how your dog will react to other dogs, smaller dogs or children. Be respectful of others, and pay attention to your dog, and what's happening in the area that may cause a dog to become stressed and reactive. Your dog is your responsibility!

If screaming kids are allowed everywhere under the sun, my dog should be allowed in a damn park

I fully agree with with every rule! This helps respectful families stay together and enjoy an outing. I hope others follow designated rules even when their dog is on edge or dangerous. My dog or myself don't deserve to be attacked! Thank you for the chance to voice.
