Where is the money going?? We deserve to see the books. Total lack of accountability and honesty.
Finally. It was about time someone spoke up about the lack of transparency here. We need real change if we want our designers to actually stand a chance.
Voting rights are a basic necessity. Why on earth are the designers the ones being shut out of their own association?? Ridiculous.
I worked in the industry for years and felt totally alienated. Things have to change NOW.
Robin kay needs to go. She has held the industry back for way too long. Let the designers run their own show.
The contrast to commercial fashion communication is experimental fashion design, as in Pierre Cardin below. Italian luxury fashion house Prada ranked at a mere 5 out of 100 on KnowTheChain’s benchmark, and its score has worsened over time. Time for fresh blood. This old guard is doing nothing for current canadian talent.
