Frederick County Public Schools, of Maryland, has a documented Anti-Bully process and policy. This policy does not deter the bully from their actions and there are many cases where the child who defends him or herself are often the ones punished. Those who follow the documented anti-bullying policy often receive more retaliation from peers.

My son went through this exact thing last year. He stood up for himself and got suspended. The bullies just kept going like nothing happened. This system is broken.
