I don't like how the board tells us one thing & then after we've all went out & bought clothes they decide to change it up. Don't say one thing & mean another.

i think we should wear jeans ! As long as it's appropriate for school ! I think we should wear the things we already have @ home like the other schools get to do wear anything they have in their closet as long as it's appropriate for school attire

Honestly, this is wrong. Parents can't afford to keep buying different clothes every week because yall changed your minds at the last minute.

My opinion of this dress code change is, as a grandparent, money doesn't grow on trees. I think we should be more focused on the children learning rather than the clothes they wear. I do feel as tho they should be presentable but I feel that the restrictions should be more open on the dress code. Some of us have already purchased the clothing for school and do not have the money to go out again and purchase more clothes. the supply list are expensive enough. its hard to raise a grandchild as it is, but to add changes on top of changes is crazy...

We have purchased clothing for 3 children based on the first policy change and are out approximately $600. Changing the policy at the last minute is absurd.

The parents should have more notice of the change and once the change was made it should stay that way because we have already spent the money based on the first policy change. The principles should have been involved the first time the policy was changed to avoid this mess.

They are not gonna change the dress code back because they want to be able to charge the kids money to wear jeans

Single parent have bought accordingly to what was said (VIA) Fayette county website and employees of the school system. People do not have the money to 're-do the wardrobe for the school year. It's expensive and so are uniforms also, check the prices.

This last change back to uniforms was about "safety" as per what these principals decided. Really!!!!!! Then explain to me how it is not safe to wear a pair of blue jeans and a non-collard shirt to school? I think if you are going to force our children to wear these uniforms in the name of "safety" then the teachers and principals need to wear uniforms for their "safety". I said UNIFORMS not just a relaxed dress code for them. They need to lead by example right?

A lot of people have already went out to get the new dress code clothes, and now they don't have any money left to get the old dress code clothes
