I work for FCS and I was without an income. I save my money to be able to buy my daughter uniform and shoes. I spent close to $300 on that alone then I was told and also read that the kids could wear jeans so I spent another $100 on jeans and shirts. I'm a single mother and I'm doing the best I can. It just isn't fair that my child can't wear the clothes that I spent all this money on.

I bought uniforms because I knew that was the policy. So 2weeks before school it was changed to solid school color T's and jeans. So I took the uniforms back & bought clothes according to the new policy. And then 1week before school starts, the policy changed back to uniforms. I do not have the time to reorder uniforms for my kids. So something needs to be done about Fayette County schools.

Sirs after spending our hard earned money buying the required uniforms as per your policy. You have now changed the policy one week before school starts! This is ridiculous. Is the school going g to supply the required uniforms?

Pick a policy and stick to it. Simple as that we are all adults. No last minute changes.

I spent over 250 in the cost of uniforms for three children. Went back and got my money back once there was change. I spent less than a 100 on jeans, shirts, and shoes for this upcoming year. I have already washed jeans for three children that can't be returned only to have to spend more money on uniforms! I have shirts to. Jeans are a lot warmer than a pair of khakis at a bus stop! And we all know they can be at the bus stop 5 mins to 30 depending on when the driver feels like showing up.

If they can't wear jeans ant t shirts, I want to be reimbursed for what I have already bought and I need to be paid for my time and mileage for buying them! Get it together! No uniforms!

The policy change is not fair,I have shopped and bought school bottom and top.Jeans were first om out list, when we found a sale in Nashville. But this back and forth policy is not fair to out students.

I also wanna know will we be heard once we reach 1000 because i really hope so fayette county school board needs to get it together they to old to be stuck in the 80's with this uniform stuff like ok some cant afford name brand but really they cant afford the uniforms either they are just as expensive like why not let us just wear what we wear during the summer months or the stuff we wear when we go out on the weekends of after the school day ends half of us already got jeans an shoes all you need is some shirts
