The Archbishop reversed the decision and Father Krys is staying with us at St. Mary's. I am exhausted by the struggle but deeply thankful that our persistence held firm. Let this remind us to stay attentive to the needs of our parish community.

We, the undersigned, humbly implore His Emmience, Gustavo-Garcia-Siller, Archbishop of San Antonio to forego consideration of the transfer of Father Kryzsztof Bytomski in favor of allowing him to continue his works at St. Mary's in Fredericksburg.

As our Parochial Vicar, under the tutelage of our beloved Monsigor Enda McKenna, Father Krys has shown a remarkable ability connect with parishioners, particularly with our young adults and the students at St. Mary's School. As Pastor of our Parish we have full faith that Father Krys will lead us to evermore spiritual understanding and continue to inspire us to live our faith in a manner pleasing to the Lord

The silence from the Archdiocese is heavy, yet we continue to reach out and formally request a meeting to discuss Father Krys remaining with us. It is exhausting to keep pushing when there is no response, but the stories you share about his impact remind me why we cannot stop now.

Reaching this point has been an exhausting climb but seeing this level of momentum keeps me going. It is clear that I am not the only one who believes Father Krys belongs here at St. Mary's.

It's true. Father Krystof has engaged many of the young adults including some at St. Francis Xavier who were before waning in church attendance. His preaching is direct and challenging and his zeal is contagious.

Please allow Father Kris to stay in Fredericksburg!!! My children feel so sad about losing both priests. Also, Fr. Kris has inspired my 11 year old to consider the priesthood--he brought it up on his own. Couldn't we please transition more slowly?

Fr. Krys has really worked hard to revive the youth at St. Marys and his work is just now beginning to blossom and it makes the parents sad to have this hope for our children and then to see him transferred before its fruition. The youth in the Hill Country are struggling and need Fr. Krys.

It is difficult to lose our pastor and our parochial vicar at the same time....could you not allow our parochial vicar to stay for another year to help the pastor to transition into his new position?

Father Krys connects with the youth of the parish like no one has in quite some time. He recognizes they are our future and actively includes them and encourages them to participate. Additionally, he manages the various church "factions" with grace and wisdom. He is a firm hand where one is often needed...

As a teacher at St. Mary's Elementary I must say Father Kris' relationship with the students and staff is priceless. He innovates, motivates, and connects. We need him for our school, for our parish, for our souls.
