This is the ONLY remaining public house in the village & a meeting place for so many residents, young & old, for some it's the only interaction with people they get! It is also the only establishment that serves food & many of the patrons use it regularly for Sunday lunches as they are elderly and want to meet up with friends!

Lovely family pub and the only one of its kind in the village-with precious little else locally it would be a crying shame to lose it for our community

Please please email the planning department at Neath Port Talbot objecting to this development. Mr Russell Borthwick is the planning officer and you can reach him at: [email protected]
But don't just say "I object", it has to be a valid reason for the objection.

One of our local pubs, the only food pub in the village where we frequent to eat at least 1 evening every week. It is a real tragedy that the farmers will no longer be there..

Hi, I would be gutted to see this place closed, it's been a very family pub, we're I have many celebration over the yrs, making memories with family and friends, it's a perfect place for meals with a partner, or just a normal relaxed place to chill with locals, please keep this place going, a lovely place like this is hard be found or replaced, many thanks

My first ever job was at this pub being a local girl you definitely get the sense of community. Serving fantastic hearty homemade food this would be such a shame. Especially with the canal being on its door step with regard to tourism!!

A once thriving public house with definite potential to be so again. This pub was a focal point for many people locals and those from far afield young and old and of varying backgrounds, a true community asset and will be a huge loss for the whole of the Neath valley area and community in general if planning change is agreed

It would be lovely to get somone in who will make this pub what it use to be.
As a young girl me and my parents and grandparents would always go for a nice meal and enjoy the family pub. Would be great if it could get back to the way it was.
Would be a massive loss if this pub goes.
