Appeal for support
Please support our request to the City of York to
allow us to maintain free parking for our patients.
Family First Health has been paying market rate for the 33 parking spots at the 101 South George Street parking lot for nearly the past seven years, totaling more than $12,000 each year. These parking spots provide Family First Health the ability to ensure safe and accessible access to care.
For the past 43 years, we have remained committed to
providing quality care to all in need, regardless of their
ability to pay for care or for parking. Each year, we serve more than 9,000 York City patients, totaling more than $1,810,000 in charity care to York City residents, who may not otherwise have access to affordable quality healthcare.
We are asking the Mayor to allow us to continue leasing at least 20 parking spots, at market rate, closest to our South George Street facility entrance in the 101 South George Street lot. These 20 spots will allow us to ensure our
patients have access to quality care.
The City of York bureaucrats are dragging their feet while our patients struggle to find a safe way to reach our facility. I am currently fighting to get the Mayor to acknowledge that these parking spots are a basic necessity for the families we serve and not just some line item in a budget.

The City of York is finally feeling the heat because of your incredible response to this campaign. It is disgraceful that they would even consider cutting off access to medical care for our patients just to pinch pennies. We are not letting up until the Mayor stops these games and keeps our parking spots open.

My kids go here and it is already stressful enough without having to hunt for parking. Keep these spots for the patients!

York needs to stop making everything so difficult. These guys do good work and this city is just trying to squeeze every dollar possible. Let them have the spots.

THIS IS ABSURD. People are sick and trying to get help and the city wants to make it harder?? Shame on you.
