Families separated by WV Vaccination Mandates

We had religious convections against vaccines. But due to the laws chose to vaccinate. My daughter almost died from the first vaccination that she had as a small baby. In WV it is difficult to get medical exceptions and to deal with the school system even after receiving one. Our youngest child is not vaccinated due to the worry of having the same reactions that his older sister did. We are moving to another state and one of the factors is vaccination choice. It should be a right of a person to choose what goes into their body. It is us that must deal with the side effects and consequences, not pharmaceutical companies, not the doctors, not the politicians.

I have a Lyme 3 year old who should be attending prek this year, but due to forced vax laws, I will not be able to work for our family of 5 and will be homeschooling. My other option is move back to MD with my mom, leave her dad and sisters in WV all because I cannot obtain an exemption for injuries or based off autoimmune disease where another vaccination, 7 more live diseases... which could full throttle force back deadly symptoms. As a scared mother I hear these stories often in WV and we are not alone. We need to talk about it. Our children deserve to go to school like their unvaccinated teachers and coaches, like the neighboring states schools we play. WV is only hirting themselves. There are no outbreaks and there are 0 deaths by vaccine preventable diseases... WV has many sick kids. 52% of our children take a daily pill or have autoimmune. Most parents dont have a choice and vax anyways, furthering hurting our children. Which will grow to be community contributors or community liabilities. WV, we need real exemptions for real cases. An Immunization Officer who has 0 medical degrees should not be making conscience decisions for our children. Point blank. Autoimmune diseases need addressed better, it's much harder to recognize the difference in injury and autoimmune. Please listen and understand that 15000 homeschooled WV kids are causing school districts to lose funding. These sick kids will grow to sicker adults. And it's because of WV crazy vax schedule. If we had the healthiest kids in America, maybe vaccines would be a worthwhile argument. But look at our kids, they are sick. We are closing schools for Flu when so many are vaccinated against it... we however have 0 measles or Polio. But numerous cases of HFM when school starts... conveiniently after siblings get Polio live vaccine. Hear our stories, we deserve a voice. And our injured children deserve a right to go to school, so the mommas can work and contribute to the community. Thank you for reading❤

As a pro life a Christian, my rights have been taken away due to vaccine laws for schooling. I should not have to inject aborted fetal cells or support the abortion industry in order to send my kids to school. Where is the line? Forced medical procedures is unconstitutional. Where there is risk there must be choice.

I have lost my daughter and her family to another state due to the extreme vaccine laws here in WV. She went to college with the promise scholarship received her degree and was forced to leave the state. I look around at the poverty in my area and realize that it’s only going to get worse as the working folks are being forced to leave for the safety of their children

As a new WV resident, I’d love to make my life here. We love the rustic beauty of the state and the local culture. We bought a beautiful house that I want my toddler to grow up in. But we have a plan in place to move before our toddler reaches school age because I will not vaccinate her. After learning about the toxic ingredients and host of of animal and fetal DNA used to make these vaccines, I was convicted by GOD to stop defining my children’s bodies with these ingredients. And my toddler is the healthiest of my four children and deserves the right to an education just like my older girls. If the state of WV, a state that I love and feel at home in, cannot offer us a religious exemption from vaccines, we have no choice but to move.

Vaccines are not safe! Ask drs what’s in them they can’t tell you. NO MORE VACCINES!!!! Just helping physicians and pharmaceutical need to stop now!!!!

Exemptions need to be available. Any medical procedure that can result in death, can be denied

I am seriously having to consider either moving or homeschooling my daughter when she becomes of age for the vaccination laws in WV.

My family left WV last year so we could put our children in public school with an exemptions and it was the best thing we could have done.

I moved myself and my three children from WV to Ohio due to the same thing!

I vaccinated my children until my son started to have signs of autism immediately following his last vaccine. I was told to get him tested for autism. During that same doctors visit, they still insisted my child be vaccinated, even after my concerns. I no longer believe vaccines are a one size fits all. I moved from West Virginia to Pennsylvania to avoid vaccinating my children.

I know of others contemplating living here but sending driving their children across the line to the next state that offers exemptions! Those states will get money for those children in that school! WV loses and loses and why?? Not to mention the willingness of the state governments to make medical decisions for people they have never met.

My family is also thinking about moving out of West Virginia. Mine and my husband's families have been in Greenbrier County WV for over 5generations and now that we have a learned the hard away about vaccines we are plan to our move. If the laws don't change we will be forced to leave our families land and go to another state where are vaccine injured child will not be required to be poisoned to attend a school our taxes pay for.

My family and I are moving to AZ this summer. We are moving because WV seems intent on curtailing freedoms in this state. The freedom to choose whether or not to vaccinate (if you don't vaccinate the state will punish you by not allowing you to send your child to public or private school), keeping out charter schools, and refusing to give tax breaks to bigger corporations in order to bring business in. I l hate leaving my family and friends but what choice do we have, when the state decides to withhold choice from us? My Masters Degree and I will make more money elsewhere. In a state that has low property taxes, loads of job opportunities, school choice and allows the freedom to not vaccinate.

Medical exemptions are crucial for our family. I have an 8 year old son with Hashimotos disease (autoimmune.) He was diagnosed at age 4. Looking back, I should have noticed the warning signs after each vaccination. His overall health was comprised with each shot. He suffered from constant ear infections, rsv, and croup. Per cdc guidelines, my son or his siblings shouldn’t receive the MMR due to him having an autoimmune disease. My 3 year old suffered from mild seizures, a fever of 103 lasting over a week after his 6 month shots ( it was mid summer so definitely not flu season), and stomach issues for about a month after which was mainly random projectile vomiting. After several doctor visits trying to convince them that he had a reaction to his shots, we gave up because the only response was “it’s viral.” I knew it was the shots. His symptoms started within a few hours afterward. We moved back to WV (my home state) so I could be close to family. Unfortunately, if we are unable to get an exemption for vaccines, we will be moving To a state that accepts exemptions. My sons have friends here, we have family here, we love WV. Im not willing to risk my child’s life/quality of life, just to send them to school.

Left WV in 2018 to have medical freedom for my 4 school-aged children. My husband is a medical professional, and we put up with mandates for 19 years too long. Now we are healthy and free and contributing to economic growth of another state. Many will follow us.
