Families separated by WV Vaccination Mandates

My oldest will start kindergarten this year. We are either homeschooling or moving from the state. We are business owners who will take our business elsewhere and pay those taxes in another state.

Sadly, we have a similar story. My family will be moving out of state as soon as my husband graduates in the spring of 2020. In the meantime, I will continue homeschooling my kids. My oldest, by the way, is just missing one MMR booster shot, and because of that, my child has lost their right to a Free Appropriate Public Education. Somehow we, and many others who are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, still manage to go into the schools, and other public places, on a regular basis.

Mandates have NO place in a FREE COUNTRY!! Forced vaccinations are an infringement of human rights! It is ILLEGAL !

I too moved states in order for my son to not be persecuted by WV vaccination laws.

WV is losing students and closing down schools because of no exemptions!

I received my Master's Degree from WVU. We own a home in Morgantown, WV but can't return to it because public schooling is not available to us as there is no religious freedom in WV for those who object to vaccine medical intervention. We are in Ohio now and are considering selling our WV home. I vaccinated my child as required before I realized the vaccines were causing harm... later we obtained genetics tests that explained that he could not eliminate the heavy metals in vaccines- the heavy metals associated with the types of life-long injuries I was seeing in my child, myself... other family members. I deeply regret allowing this poison into my child and I am regret I let it happen. It is a sin to harm children in this way. I am just one member of my family that has left and will never return to WV. My sister's family has left and my Niece's family has left as well. We have a constitution in our country that should be honored. As a veteran I am ashamed of WV, for forsaking our freedom to choose against a medical intervention from the hands of the state. Mountaineers aren't always free- they are free to leave if they don't like it- and we don't.

I just pulled my kid out of public school and homeschooling him because he was short 3 vaccinations . I refuse to give him anymore of Big Pharmas poisons. I will be pulling my 3 other kids out and moving to one of the other 47 states that have religious exemptions.

We moved to WV in 2011 when we bought our first house! Initially it was a financial decision based on the lower real estate prices compared to MD, but we quickly grew to love WV! We vaccinated 4 of our 5 kids fully, on time, and unfortunately witnessed the adverse effects it had on them. We have also since learned that vaccines contain aborted fetal cells and require continued use of aborted fetal cells for research and development. It is unacceptable that WV doesn’t allow for religious exemptions! Now we are forced to make the agonizing decision to flee WV so that our kids can continue to attend public school. Unless WV honors religious exemptions for all public schools, we will have no choice but to move out of state this summer!

1 kid who was vaccinated up until 12 months & was hospitalized over the 12 month shots. Always was sick until we stopped vaccinating, now super smart & healthy kid. 2nd kid, no vaccines super healthy & thrives more than any kid his age that is vaccinated. Regression isn’t genetic. There are thousands of other illnesses we don’t vaccinate for & don’t fear. If my kids were sick they would be treated properly and kept home like anyone should be. They’re immune systems are way stronger than any kid their age who’s vaccinated. We will 100% move before I ever let them be injected with straight up poisons. Know better, do better but don’t wait until it’s too late. Those poisons aren’t going to make anyone healthier. If you are one who is for mandating this law PLEASE go get yourself caught up on all the childhood vaccines they’ve added or that you don’t have immunity to anymore.

We are currently living in WV, but we are in the process of finding my husband a job out of state and moving. We have a vaccine injured disabled 3 year old son and no doctor will give us a medical exemption. My son went from seeing 4 therapists weekly to none when he aged out of the Birth to Three Program. We have insurance (BCBS), however the deductibles & copays are high. I have applied for Medicaid (in review), but even with Medicaid you can only receive so many therapies per month & our area only offers speech and occupational therapy. He desperately needs ABA therapy! I can no longer work due to care my son needs & making it on one income in WV is extremely hard. Honestly if “private” school passes for exemptions in WV we cannot afford to send our child & most private schools do not except disabled children. ALL children should have a right to education & therapies. I worked in the same elementary school where my child would have attended. No one had a problem with me only having 9 vaccinations 40 years ago, but my son who has already had 17 can not go

If things don’t change, we will be moving also!!

After thorough research and a diagnosis of an autoimmune condition for my husband, we made the decision to not vaccinate either of our daughters, currently 2 and 5 years old. Throughout our research, we found that the way in which vaccines are made to work with the immune system can actually trigger autoimmune conditions, made even more probable if there is already a direct relative (like the father) who has an autoimmune condition. I fully believe that because of this decision, our daughters have stronger immune systems. They are able to fight off illness quickly. My oldest has been on an antibiotic twice in her 5 years and my youngest has never had an antibiotic. I have researched the illnesses that children are vaccinated against and feel that I am prepared to support my children if they were to ever contract any of them. I have also read studies that show that some of the illnesses, such as measles, can protect children against certain cancers later in life. We do not shelter our daughters, even if you consider most adults are walking around completely unvaccinated. I haven't received a vaccine since I was a teenager, yet no one would consider that strange. No one seems to point that out, yet, if discovered, my daughters would be treated as walking petri dishes of disease. My oldest attends dance lessons and school. Both of them go with us to run errands, to amusement parks, to story hours at the local library, and many other places where they encounter all kinds of people. In the winter of 2019 Flu B hit our family hard. My husband, both daughters, my mother- and father-in-law, and my mother all were stricken. The girls recovered in about a week, without any medical interventions. However, my oldest developed a condition called acute childhood myelitis. She complained of her lower legs hurting badly and she resorted to walking on her knees for a day or two. I read that this is common after a viral illness, especially the flu. Born and raised in WV. Attended WVU on a Promise Scholarship. Never imagined I’d leave home but we left West Virginia this summer due to vaccine laws. I would love to be able to move home and raise my children with their grandparents and cousins.
