My Dad was in hospital for 6 months, only 4 times was his wife allowed to visit, and we were not allowed at all. He died (natural causes) and the agony from not being able to see him or say goodbye is horrendous.

I do not believe it's fair to our family members that their being stuck in these hospitals then left there to pass away alone without their family members. Death can be a scary thing no reason they should face it alone!

It is terrible if your loved ones are in the hospital and the family are able to be with them in their last days. It’s a comfort to the dying person as well as the family to know they are together in their last monents

I can't imagine what it would be like to be suffering alone in the hospital or to have a loved one suffering and not be able to visit. It is such a shame and needs to be taken care of.

My father is on hospice care and due to covid-19 regulations I have to ask permission and be approved for even a window visit. He is at the end of his life and other people are keeping him from his children. This is not right. It is time for covid restrictions to be lifted before more elders die alone.

My mother died alone in the Mercy system as we weren't allowed to see her. Same day she died they let us into the ICU right to her body. How foes that protect anyone?

I have lost three family members to covid. My family will forever remember my grandmothers last words being that we left her there alone to die.
