This field is the only play area on the Estate, shame on Newcastle councillors for even thinking of building on it, its obvious not one of them live on the estate or this wouldn't be happening, typical of them to s**t on someone else's doorstep.

Good luck. You'll need it. I've signed many of these lately and the council have took no notice what so ever of public interest. I don't think they've ever changed their mind. More houses = More council tax. That's their motto.

I get that we need assisted living homes but to build on the green would be a disservice to potential residents and those already living in there. The space is not big enough for decent accommodation but is big enough for for our children. The fairways estate is a hidden gem and we love living here because of the green space and the way it has made a neighbourhood in its best sense. It should be a model for all future developments. With that in mind, please build the supported living on a brand new development with beautiful space that the residents deserve.

I am STRONGLY against the conversation of our green space being built on. I walk my dog like many others on this field twice a day minimum. My family has played on this field for generations and I have lived on this estate since I was born. You are depriving future generations of these same joys by turning our beloved estate into a concrete jungle.

The traffic around this area is horrendous. The roads are impassable. Further developments would exacerbate the problem.

There has always been a green there ever since the estate has been built. It's always been a place were children (myself included, years ago) have been able to play outside, were parents can keep an eye on them safely. You also get people & dog walkers who use it as a form of exercise which i think, is good for the community. I think to build anything on it, would be disgraceful, as there would be a build up of traffic, on a very small estate.

I have lived on this estate for 66 years I played on it when I was young when there were swings and roundabouts. Our children and their friends played on it and now there are my grandchildren and lots of new generation of children in the Estate. It is and always has been well used by children. It is a safe environment for them as people opposite always look out for them . There will be a barricade of people to stop any development on here and I will be there

Use the area with the old student accommodation for assisted living.
