This area is one of the very few recreational spaces left. Planning has to include spaces like, this, so that means it should be left alone.

I'M STRONGLY AGAINST THIS GREEDY DEVELOPMENT, WHERE WILL THE KIDS PLAY. I understand now why the council haven't been cutting the grass, absolutely shocking. Oh by the way council has done a great job with reducing the congestion at Four lane ends round about NOT.

Why do the council need to develope on this land.... I do not understand. Kids need this area because my kids play on this field when the council can be bothered to cut the grass, why can't they a small kids football pitch and a nice play area instead of selling to these big developers that make cardboard houses and sell them at silly prices

Why on earth would you even consider developing on that small, beautiful green park that so many kids and dog walkers use daily and cherish. Why do you not consider other sites which are ugly to look at and derelict, for instance that patch of land near the Siemens Factory just off the "Fossway". That piece of land has been undeveloped for many years and is a complete eyesore. Are you considering such sites?

Due to the traffic lights at the four lane ends lots of motorists are already using Fairways Avenue as a short cut to Benton Road and I can tell you they are driving at very dangerous speeds and your proposal to build on our field and endanger our Children even more is a ludacris idea to say the least .I thought that the council was running a scheme where they are encouraging people especially children to exercise to help to keep fit so where does this plan fit in with that plan ,My Grandchildren live opposite the field and they can be watched by their parents to see they are safe as in this day and age you should be aware of dangers to children ie not being allowed out on their own ,Where do you suggest they play ball games walk run walk the dog in safety beside their home.
